The Nutrition Leadership Institute is awarded by Dannon Institute. It is designed to provide the promising nutrition researchers with both a global perspective and the skills needed to help them become more effective leaders. Goal of this institute is to train these scientists early in their career, in maximizing the impact of their leadership and communication skills on nutrition. Every year, about 20 scientists are selected from various research fields and and geographic representation.
For the year 2005, Assistant Professor Jamy Ard, M.D. and Research Associate Cristina Lara-Castro have been selected for this training.
